What is Kaizen (改善) ?
Kaizen (改善), a Sino-Japanese word that means “change for better”, is most normally referred to by minor manufacturers as the practice of “continuous improvement.”
Kaizen (改善) is an approach to manufacturing honed and validated by many Japanese manufacturers in the 1960s and 1970s that finally lead to the global rise of Japanese automobile manufacturers and their celebrity for quality.
Toyota’s beginning to manufacturing is a primary example of Kaizen (改善) in action.
