The situation today is quite different. People do not like to read newspapers a lot nowadays although we have a lot of newspapers to read.
There were no newspapers in the old days. When something happened, it took days and weeks for the news to become known.
Yes, reading newspapers is still such a significant thing that it becomes one of our daily activities.
We read newspapers in order that we can learn the grammars and vocabulary. Besides we can learn other languages from the news reports, we also read the editorial and other important articles in a newspaper, so that we may get to know the details of many world events and find ways and means to do something about them.
